My 15th C. PARISH HOUSE allows you to exploit the "City of the Popes"... AVIGNON, compact and sophisticated, with the fragrance of Provence's lavender and sunflower countryside in close proximity!
From a Bed and Breakfast-style "base camp", you never unpack, and your AMERICAN tour leader, acting as your Host and Guide, leads you on NINE (9) daily tours of Provence, in an air-conditioned luxury tour van. We fill up each year for TWO basic reasons:

A. Our $3650 Two-Week tour is TWICE as long, therefore almost half the cost, per day, as our nearest Provence competitor. With us you get EIGHT (8) days, 68 hours of accompanied, guided touring, not 48. In addition, you get 4 days of rest to recuperate and relax, or to explore, shop, cafe-hop, museum-hop (3 art, 2 Roman, 3 Renaissance), attend the Opera, or attend Gourmet Cooking School.

B. This is a SMALL tour group, limited to EIGHT (8) guests. Savvy travelers stick to SMALL tour groups which give you entree into small gourmet restaurants, expand your choices, and make it a tour to remember. No 30-passenger bus tour here, but the real out-of-the-way Provence with an AMERICAN tour leader with LOCAL KNOWLEDGE honed over 15 years.

JULY IS MEDITERRANEAN-ADVENTURE MONTH FOR 15-20(+) YEAR OLDS AND PROCTORS/TEACHERS

a multi-cultural Catalan-Provence educational experience

July is the month for students of France, and their parents and teachers. As a parent, its a "working opportunity" family-time. The long walks along the cliffs to the town of Collioure were the most memorable for my family. We sailed, we snorkeled, we listened to the celtic sea chanties on the pier. Its a two-week adventure "en famille". With students from NZ to ZA, from DK to UK, our last "family trip" would be a unique memory to savor for years to come.

If you are an adult you'll act as a Proctor, blessed with a small coterie of the group, to whom you will communicate pearls of wisdom and philosophy of life. You'll learn from me about the lifestyle of the area, and its religious history (my Local Knowledge), its Roman sites, pilgrimage sites, ancient paths, and the dawning of Christianity. If you are serious about your health, and want to improve your lifestyle (the hiking/foodie/night-under-the-stars parts) this is the adventure tour you've been looking for. ONLY $2950 p/person for 2 weeks!
