The Camargue and Féria Tour

Although the "Camargue" as a Theme is available all the time, the "Féria" Theme can only be provided in the month of April. During the first two weeks of April, at Easter, Arles has its Féria; the Nîmes Féria happens during the second two weeks.

The Férias are quintessential southern Provençal festivals. We will eventually develop this site so that it describes the full color, pomp & circumstance, pageantry, and culture of a tradition that is a thousand years in the making. The Camargue is, next to Paris, the most sought-after destination venue for tourists visiting France.

The problem is that the area is not developed to accept tourists anywhere near the level of demand. That is because it is a staunchly-defended environmental resource area. We have a way to get you in and out of this area, within 45 minutes of Avignon, so that the problems associated with sampling the originality and genuineness of La Camargue are avoided.

Bullfighting (Corridas) are available, for the true aficionados of the Spanish and Gitano cultures. The Courses Camarguaise, in which the bull is not harmed, is our preference. The entrance fees to all events are not included in the Tour Price. The Parish has the distinction of being recognized as the official "Club Taurin des Etats Unis". You can count on $100 extra in cost to visit events at the Férias, including a special dinner at EL PATIO, hosted by a renowned bullfighting family, with flamenco music that will blow your sock off. Highly recommended.
