Recipes: Tried and True Menu
Description
1. Roma Tamato Marinara: a zesty roma tomato basil sauce served over penne
pasta tubes, topped with shaved parmesan cheese, w/chicken optional.
2. Pizza al Forno: traditional Italian-Provençal pizzas in a variety of style-choices.
3. Pesto Linguini in French Cream Sauce: Lean strands of linguini sautéed with a dab of
white wine, olive oil, exotic local mushrooms, roma tomatoes, basil pesto, and Créme
Fraiche.
4. Pasta Fresca: Bow tie pasta lightly sautéed with a lively blend of olive oil, balsamic
vinegar, fresh provençal tomatoes, baby spinach and red onions, w/ marinated shrimp
optional.
5. Salad with Catch of the Day (from Moules Mareniere), using sweet rice vinegar dressing.
6. Buttered Noodles and Parmesan: A full ounce of melted butter tossed with wavy egg
noodles. Topped with Parmesan and Pecorino Romano cheese with Italian seasonings. Cucumber
& Tomato salad.
7. Vietnamese Stir-Fry, with rice: we like big fat fresh peas in this one, optional
shrimp.
8. Mushroom Stroganoff: a flavorful sherry cream sauce (available pre packaged) with
sautéed mushrooms over wavy egg noodles. Topped with Parmesan cheese. Beef in minced
garlic and scallions optional.
9. Lasagne al Forno: Three cheeses, with vegetable optional. French frozen food is sooo
good!
10. Provençal Dinner: Sampling of local caterers' dishes that we explain after you've
cruised the big Market with us, like Spanish "Fritata", and
"Remoulade".
11. Thai Noodles: rice noodles, seared carrots & crushed peanuts, with select field
greens tossed with spicy peanut sauce and tender dwarf broccoli spears.
12. Vietnamese Rice Noodles in Sesame Oil, with select field green accompanied by a fig
& carrot salad. Optional Tofu in oyster sauce (pre packaged vacuum pack).
13. Moroccan sausage & Cous-Cous, Provençal bean casserole, avocado salad, maybe some
steamed baby artichokes (there are about 6 varieties). |
